Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Affectionate! Smart! Loyal! Playful! These are just a few traits our handsome blue-eyed boy, Forrest, is known for by staff and volunteers! And, if you can’t tell by his picture Forrest is a hugger, too! To set our love bug up for success we are looking for a potential adopter to have Shepherd/Husky experience. Forrest also loves his people so much, he would have a tendency to get out of the yard to come find them so will need someone willing to supervise his outdoor time and preferably someone who is home more often then not.
Forrest’s adoption fee is $300 which includes his neuter, microchip, fecal exam, and shots up to date. He is a little over 1 yr. old and weighs 80lbs.
Please consider opening your heart and most loving home to this really amazing snuggle bug!
Note:
All dogs require a $100 training deposit. Once confirmation of the completion of a training class has been sent to the rescue, you will receive your deposit back in full.
As we are a rescue all of our adult dogs/puppies for adoption must be spayed or neutered. Although we make every attempt to have this done before finding their adoptive families, this is not always possible. Please speak with your adoption coordinator to see of this service has already been performed or they will explain to you if your new dog/puppy will need this service while in your care at no cost to you.
When emailing please include your phone number to help speed up the adoption process. Also, for the safety of our dogs we only adopt within a 2 hour radius of Joliet, Illinois, to allow our volunteers to do home checks if necessary.
