My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet 4 month old Charlotte has definitely used up one of her nine lives. St. Thomas visitors from New Hampshire were leaving a Charlotte Amalie restaurant when they came across a little calico kitten stuck in a storm drain with only her head out of the drain (see video). The rescue took quite some time as those involved made sure to remove her without causing injury. They brought her immediately to an after hours veterinarian for help and cleaned her up (picture shown in pink blanket). The vet clinic, who is our St. Thomas partner where some of our staff works, gave her to OTR.

Charlotte is a sweet, affectionate and somewhat quiet kitten. She will do best in a home with another mellow cat and with respectful, gentle children. Who wants to give this kitten a home where she will always be safe and cherished?
