My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Tessa came to us from animal control. She was picked up as a stray. She is about 6-7 years old and weighs about 11 pounds. Tessa is very affectionate and sweet tempered, always.

Tessa's favorite things are squeaky toys and will toss them in the air and chase them on her own. She would probably be happiest as an only dog, but she's not aggressive with them at all--She just keeps to herself and curls up on her little dog bed when she is indoors.

Tessa is special needs because she has an old injury to her spine, and it causes her to have difficulty walking on smooth floors like linoleum or hardwoods. Outdoors, where she has better traction, she runs like the wind without any difficulty. We've found that if Tessa walks slowly, she can go where she wants to indoors, but she gravitates to a throw rug or other type of flooring that gives her traction.

Tessa has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for heartworms and had her teeth cleaned with a few extractions. Her adoption fee is $250.
