Description of pet
Say hello to Tiny! Tiny was brought to the shelter because his previous owner didn't have enough time or space to devote to him and his litter mates. Now, he's on the hunt for a forever family to join!
A little bit about Tiny
~ He is a very sweet boy who loves to be with his people.
~ He has previously lived with dogs and is known to play well.
~Tiny did well with cats when being tested here at the shelter and would likely do well in a home with them.
~Tiny does okay with children but will need to work on jumping.
~ Tiny is a playful boy who loves to romp around with other dogs.
~ Tiny enjoys being active too, so a family who is up for daily walks or leisure time spent in the backyard playing would be nice!
~ Tiny loves to learn, and is very intelligent, so training is fun!
~ Tiny is very food motivated, and will do anything for a treat!
If you have questions about Tiny or his adoption process, contact shelter staff.
**Please keep in mind, Tiny is considered to be a pit bull breed. Please check your local legislation for possible breed restrictions before considering adoption. The mission of the Liberty Animal Shelter is to find loving, permanent homes for our pets. If you live in a breed-restricted area, you can check with your city's animal control or any vet in your city for a breed evaluation before adopting.**
Tiny will have an adoption fee of $80.00 with an approved adoption application to cover the cost of his sterilization procedure, canine distemper combo and bordetella vaccines as well as a dewormer. An additional fee for heartworm test and rabies vaccine will be due to the veterinarian at the time of service. Please note that Tiny will be vaccinated and sterilized after adoption.
If you would like to visit with Tiny you will first need to complete an adoption application listed here:
Once submitted, Liberty Animal Shelter staff will review your application and contact you to schedule an appointment. The Liberty Animal Shelter is currently open by appointment only. If you have any questions please feel free to reach our staff at 816.439.4791 or ACO@libertymo.gov.
