Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Selene, and while some might call me “needy,” I prefer to think of myself as the most loving, affectionate bunny you’ll ever meet. And by that I mean I want you to give me all the love, snuggles, and pets 24/7. I will leap out of my pen, slide across hardwood floors, charge your feet, and nibble your fingers for attention, then pancake myself flat to soak in the caresses.
My second favorite thing to do is eat. I love my pellets, greens, and hay. I go bananas for craisins and crais-y for bananas. I also love Meadow Loops and chewing on hay stuffed in a toilet paper tube. My third favorite thing to do is scare my humans by resting on my back in “bunny corpse pose.” It’s cute once you realize I haven’t died from lack of attention.
You should also know that I do have a bit of a mischievous side. Like most rabbits, I also enjoy digging, chewing, and getting into things, so bunny-proofing is a must. Since my spay surgery, I’ve gotten really good about using my litterbox, but I’m still learning and may still have an occasional accident.
I sometimes struggle with taking “no” for an answer. Don’t want to pet me anymore? Yes, you do. Don’t want me to jump onto the bookshelf? What are you talking about? I like to think my shenanigans are simply a good way to keep us both entertained.
I have lived in a foster home with small dogs, cats, and a 6-year-old and get along with everyone. I would do best in a home where I can free-roam most of the day and spend time with people. I think I would be very sad if I had to stay in a pen all day while my humans were gone at work, and I might have some trouble staying out of trouble.
