Hi folks,

My name is Franklin and I am a gentle pup. I am bonded with my soulmate, Felicia. We were found dumped together by a couple of ranch hands. Felicia was microchipped, I was not. Unfortunately, Lucies received no response after numerous calls. We believe our original owners most likely considered us no longer useful for hunting or perhaps not so great at retrieving.

So we arrived at Lucies and it's here we still are. I had gotten injured and for awhile, Felicia was so sad and depressed because I wasn't with her and she was afraid and worried for me. I was so happy to be back with her once I recovered and we are now back together again!

We have both tested positive for heartworms and are currently being treated, but should be able to test again in January. Lucies will provide a year supply of heartworm prevention if I remain positive after being retested.. Lucies will then pay up to $400 for a fast heartworm kill treatment.

We are very low key and leash/crate trained. We are gentle and sweet, and would be perfect for an older family or a family that isn't high energy. Could that family be you?? Please say YES!!!
