Hi there! I’m Blake and they call me a sweet beagle/dachshund mix. I am around 8 months old so I am still learning how things work in this world. I didn’t get a chance to meet many people or other dogs until I came to MomsVA so sometimes I bark a bit or get scared of new people and other dogs. My foster mom and all the great people at MomsVA are getting me out more in the world so I can learn to be confident in new situations. Once I realize that a person or other dog is safe, I am ready to have some fun. Now that I know the dogs in my foster home and at doggy daycare, I love to play all the time!

The best home for me would be with a person and/or family who can continue to take me out into the world and yet be patient with me as I figure out that people and other dogs are not a threat. I can be a bit stubborn and once it took me 2 hours to accept another dog, but once I did it was Game-On playtime!
