Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Zeke and I'm a very sweet boy! I like to spend my days cuddled nearby my foster parents or in my cozy bed. I like to play fetch, especially with toys that squeak! I know a lot of words and commands and love to show off my skills for treats.
I currently live with several other dogs and we've all done great together! Sometimes we play together, but I especially like just hanging out my new buddy, a senior heeler. When I'm ready for some quiet time and space, I'll just give a little grrr to let everyone know. My foster and I think I'll do well in a home with other dogs, as long as they aren't pushy.
You need to know that in December I suffered an extruded disc (a spinal injury). My recovery has gone well and I'm doing so much better now! Part of my treatment includes a special diet that is helping me reach and maintain a healthy weight, which will reduce the risk of me suffering another disc injury.
Are you looking for a new cuddle-buddy? Can you help me stay slim and healthy? Maybe I'm the dog for you!
