Hi, my name is Carol Ann and if you are looking for a “forever and always in a good mood” dog, I am your girl. I was born in the rescue and almost didn’t make it! I was stillborn and my foster mom was successful in reviving me, but kinda left me at “every day is a new day” — literally — (think “50 First Dates”...).
Every day can be a new day for me and I am not always aware of what is expected of me on any given day. My perfect family will set me up to succeed by monitoring me when out of the crate, and not leaving me to my own devices. I am happy and goofy but will also get into things that I knew yesterday I should not. I am absolutely VERY well trained on my commands and things, I just need reminded that I know them! I am easy going and looking for easy going!
I am also extremely outgoing and friendly with all people and other animals, and would love an active family and kids to include me in their shenanigans. I am the soccer field and baseball stands dog. I am the playground dog. I am the fun dog! I love to hike, run, jump, play (my fosters call me speedy feet). I would probably do very well at dog-sport activities.
If you can accept my, at times, oddities and idiosyncrasies and just want an active, always happy playmate and companion, then I may be the girl for you.
ADOPTION FEE: $200 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained).
A $100 hold fee is required for approved applications and will be applied to the full adoption fee at the time of the home visit.

PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
