DOB: 2019 - Adopted Sep 2021
Esther has been through a lot in her relatively short life: she was homeless, became pregnant, lovingly cared for her babies, and became a nursing mom to an orphaned kitten. Now that her babies are ready to be adopted, it is Esther’s turn to find a loving forever family to care for her.
The best way to learn about this sweet cat is to read her foster family’s description:
Esther is a slender, petite lady with a big personality. When we first got Esther, being a house-cat was new to her, but, very quickly, she came to trust and feel safe in our home. Now, Ester is extremely loving and friendly when she gets to know you. She enjoys being around people and is almost always in the room where people are sitting, even if she isn’t near you.
Esther was instantly very friendly with our cat and never cared about our eighty-pound golden retriever. Eventually, Esther began to rub against our dog and sit near him and sleep. She is very good with other cats and we never had any issues.
Esther enjoys a good snack and a nap in a sunny spot. She constantly uses the scratch pad or post and is very good at not scratching furniture.
Esther’s willingness to start trusting humans is something I love very much about her. When we first got her, she was so frightened of us, but, she has completely changed. I knew that things were improving when I’d come home from work and she would run to the door and meow to greet me.
Esther’s care and love for her adopted son Huck was one of many things we saw her do in her time with us and that made us love her immensely.
Esther must be adopted to a family with another young, friendly cat.
