My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

KARLY-FEMALE 4 YEAR OLD GERMAN SHEPHERD-BOXER MIX-70 POUNDS
****COURTESY POSTING****

Here's what we have been told about Karly:

Female, 4 years old
German Shepherd/Boxer Mix

Weight: 70 lbs.
Spayed
Up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella shot
She is microchipped
She does not have toy/food aggression
She does best with her brother (Riley) and smaller dogs. She does okay with bigger dogs as she tries to assert her dominance and she mostly ends up barking. But for the most part, does well with other dogs.
She used to live with a kitten which was fine, but we are unsure how she would do with an adult cat.
Unsure how she would do around children, as she has not had many experiences with them.
She has no bite history (dog or person)
She is a very good girl. She enjoys being lazy and sleeping but also loves going on walks. She isn't necessarily super cuddly, but she can if she wants to. She loves it when you rub on her chest (she'll put her arm on you while you do it, which makes it a bit awkward but it shows she likes it and wants you to continue). She likes sleeping under blankets but tends to get hot easily. She is very sweet & gentle. She can be stubborn and not listen sometimes, but mostly is very obedient. She barks at things/people/animals -- mostly because she is afraid of them and tries to assert herself. She can be hesitant when meeting men for the first time, but overall does well and shows her true loving-self, once she gets to know you. She likes chew toys, stuffed lamb toys, and tennis balls.
She is crate-trained, housebroken, and knows a few commands (sit, down, wait/stay, come, drop it)
She would be best suited where she is the only dog or with her brother or possibly with other dogs (it usually just takes time for her to get used to them). For people restrictions she is more aggressive with men, and she does not have any experience with children (under teenagers).
