North New Jersey

George is a 10+ yo. 22 lb. male chestnut and white Shih-poo with a gorgeous coat and darling personality. This guy is as sweet and gentle as they come. He LOVES being with his person and snuggling.

George was dumped at the shelter with very painful eyes. Luckily, he only has dry eye which we are treating with Tacrolimus drops which will need to be continued for life. He is mostly blind if not completely blind. But that doesn’t get in his way. He very quickly figured out the lay of the land at his foster home and even goes up and down a couple steps on his own. He is also hard of hearing. He seems to hear certain loud noises and since we have been cleaning his ears, his hearing seems to be improving.

George is UTD, HW negative, and housebroken. His bloodwork, urine, and fecal are all normal. He had a dental with one extraction and was neutered.

George is a great couch potato for someone who would love a new best friend to hang out with.
