SAMIEL and his brother MICHIEL were turned into the shelter. We have no real idea what their life was before coming to the rescue. He was hissy and dirty! Now this sweet little dude is ready for his FUREVER home!
SAMIEL loves to be petted and will rub against your leg till you do so! SAMIEL is a really affectionate boy who loves to curl up in your lap. He also loves to play with all toys and other cats. Does fine around children. SAMIEL
and his brother MICHIEL both go crazy when they hear the sound of a can of wet food open. They love chasing crinkle toys that make noise. They love chasing each other around in cat tunnels. He has a great appetite and loves his wet food. MICHIEL and SAMIEL will do best being adopted together. They really love each other!
SAMIEL is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABBY MIX. He is 7 months old and is good with cats and children. In his foster home, he was around other kittens and older cats. He has never been around dogs.
SAMIEL is currently located at PETSMART in Palm Desert, Ca off Monterrey Avenue.
JANUARY 2022: With all the needed social distancing...we are still doing adoptions. We can do meet and greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at any of the PETSMARTS listed below. But steps 1. thru 4. of the ADOPTION PROCESS must be done first.
VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to do meet and greets...not PETSMART employees. Gas donations always appreciated!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. Request Application: By Email / In Person / Fill Out Online Form
2. Submit Application
3. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
4. Will be notified of Approved Application
5. Meet and Greet with Kitty
6. Sign Adoption Contract
7. Pay Adoption Fee
8. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
9. Take the Kitty Home

You can obtain an application one of 3 ways.
The 1st is to physically go to the PETSMART where the pet is located (or the others listed below) and request one from our volunteers. VOLUNTEERS are only there 9 am to 12 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and 10 am to 1 pm on Sunday. Once filled out please return to the VOLUNTEER. You may ask the volunteer if you can briefly meet the cat / kitten. But please be aware some of them might not be comfortable to let you meet the pet due to COVID.

The 2nd way is to request an application. The information you fill out on THIS website is NOT the application. An actual application CAN be requested and sent by email . Please include the PET'S NAME in the subject line and email us directly:

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient.
We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.

The adoption fee of $200 covers:

FVRCP shots
RABIES shot
FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control
Microchip
