My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Schatzie loves to be held and is very affectionate. She will walk up to you and rest her head on your hand or lap. She is slowly learning how to play catch after watching our resident dog and loves holding a toy in her mouth at all times. Squeaker toys are her jam and there are never too many tennis balls in her opinion. Often times you will find her rolling in the grass and springing back up to all four and ready for the next adventure. She rides well in cars, walks well on a leash and is potty trained.

Everyone who meets her says she is an absolute sweetheart. The instant we met, our hearts melted, and could not agree any more.

More about this rescue

NorCal Boxer Rescue provides a temporary sanctuary for Boxers in need throughout California. Boxers come to us from shelters and from owners who are no longer able to care for them. We provide these animals with veterinary care, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, a microchip, a temporary foster home at a private residence, lots of love, and placement into a carefully screened home forever.

NCBR is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is run entirely by a dedicated group of volunteers who have an unmatched love for preserving this wonderful breed. If you have a heart for animals, we invite you get involved in whatever capacity you can.
