Athena was impounded as a stray at Bell County shelter and gave birth on May 29 to four puppies. We don’t know much about her past other than she came from a really bad part of town and was brought in with her male puppy from a previous litter.

Her four puppies are now weaned and it is finally time for sweet Athena to find her forever home.
She’s a super easy pup who just wants to please her people. She walks well on a leash, seems to be indifferent to other dogs, and LOVES people! She is learning that life can be good and if there was ever a deserving pup of an easy life, it’s Athena. If you want an affectionate, low-key pup, Athena is your girl.
