Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Azalea is a sweet, active, friendly and is a confident lab/shepherd mix who is looking for a family to love. She is 7 months old, is crate and house trained, is learning sit, and other basic commands. She currently weighs about 38 lbs, and is expected to weight 65lbs or more.
Azalea would love a family who is active and enjoys spending time with their dog. She loves water, and as she gets more confident on a leash she will love to go hiking. Azalea loves to play with other dogs and would do best with a medium to large dog to play with.
Azalea was part of a cruelty and neglect case and spent her life with her littermates. She would be happiest with another dog. She can be adopted with any of her littermates as well. She is currently in a foster home with a preschool age child, one litter mate and three adult labs near Kankakee, IL and transport can be arranged for families living more than two hours away for a donation to the rescue.
All dog are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines including rabies unless too young, fecal and HW tested, microchipped, groomed, flea/hw preventative, and come home with their collar.
Requirements: adoption application, in person or virtual home visit, $300 adoption fee, adoption contract
