Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dash, aka Dashalicious, was an owner surrender. She had a deep wound on her back leg and the owner couldn't afford the vet and Da,h had to stay outside because they were allergic to cats!
Dash has adjusted well to being an indoor kitty. She loves our catio, but is happy hanging out on our bed. She does fine with the other fosters as long as they are not grumpy to her. Dash can be a Chatty Cathy.
She does like to give love bites - so probably would not do well with young children. Not sure if you have ever had a cat that likes to give love bites? Dash doesn't bite hard, but again, probably not a good match for small children.
Dash uses the litter box, loves to groom herself, hasn't really bonded with any of the other fosters. Would make an awesome only cat. Dash has a white locket on her chest and our vet estimated that she is about 2 years old.
Hardest part of rescue is:
- Not being able to save every cat.
- Finding excellent homes for our rescues.
$75 adoption fee.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Application requests can be made by emailing Silverton.Rescue@gmail.com
We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes.
The $75 adoption fee per cat insures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for Rabies and FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and treated for pesky fleas.
