We are currently taking applications. Bonded, short but soft fur, love walks together or apart, and to be with their people. There were 14 puppies and no rescue had stepped up. We didn’t find out about them or that they were all dying. We only knew very vague information on them. We had thought there were only 5-6. By the time we found out enough to know they were in great danger, another 2 had died. We thought it was Parvo but later found out they all had very bad cases of hook worms and other parasites which had gone on too long and without vaccines, preventatives and nutritious food. Romeo had been separated from the rest and Rosalee, the smallest, were the only 2 that survived out of the 14. Rosalee was hospitalized for about 2 weeks and it’s been a long time recovering. Romeo had watched all his siblings die except for Rosalee. He had climbed out of a shed window, chasing the volunteer's Jeep, when trying to get them all picked up. It's hard to think what might have happened to him had we not gone on and picked him up, too. They are bonded so they will need to be adopted together.
