My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Intake Date: SARG 6/12/2021 transfer to FBS 9/2021 ----- Age at original Intake: 1.5 years ----- Breed: Husky Mix ----- Size: 55 lbs ----- Status: Surrender/Rescue Transfer ----- Compatible with: dogs, cats unknown, children. He does have prey drive and chases cats that run. Typical young husky ------ Suitable for: home with fenced yard, should not be left alone with small animals. ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: As with all Huskies, needs adequate exercise for best behavior----- Additional Notes: Sky was originally a farm dog, and being a Husky LOVES and NEEDS to run. He is not fond of a leash. He is very loving and full of energy. He is a handsome and friendly boy. Knows basic commands and is potty trained. He will still need to be worked with as he is fairly young and so full of energy. An adopter must be prepared for the husky shedding and coat blow out. The higher energy and the intelligence sometimes mischevious nature of a husky. Sky is a great boy who deserves a great home. He has been bounced around a ton from fosted to foster and adopter to adopter. We are assisting to try to give him his final move! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting, please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption can be finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175. All residents are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. A secure physically fenced yard is required.
