My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sandy is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home.

Sandy was dumped out at someone's house in the country. They already had a surplus of dogs we were asked to find her a home. We are unsure of her breed mixture - it looks like she has some German Shepherd and/or Black Mouth Cur (hound dog) in the mix. Sandy is going on 5 months old and she weighs 31 pounds. She is going to be a smaller, medium-sized dog. Sandy is very outgoing and playful. She really loves toys, treats, and playing with other puppies. Sandy has not been around cats so she might be able to get along with one if properly trained. She also likes to cool off in the wading pool. Sandy is still a puppy that must be trained and further socialized. She must be in the house as a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash and she would like to have a securely fenced yard to run and play.

Sandy is healthy. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and has been started on monthly heartworm and flea preventative. Sandy has a $500.00 adoption fee that includes ground transport via Mightly Mutt Shipping for pickup in White River Junction VT, Brattleboro VT, Nashua NH, or Hampton NH. She is being fostered in Texas and will not be sent north until after she is adopted.
