My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tori
Fostered in Duluth, GA

estimated 2-3 year old female Min Pin mix
13 lbs.
Fully vetted

MPMR requires all adopters to have their pets up-to-date on vaccinations, to be spayed or neutered, and on heartworm prevention.

Tori is quite the character. We aren't sure what she may be mixed with besides Min Pin. Some think by looks, she may have Beagle in her. It has also been thought she might have some Basenji in her based on her vocalizations. The vet aged her at 5 years old, but she acts like a much younger dog. We believe she may be closer to 3 given her energy level and constant need to gallop everywhere.

Tori is house trained. She is not a fan of being crated however. She enjoys being wherever her people are, so if crated, she will scream like she's lost her best friend. She wants her eyes on someone at all times. Given she is a barker, Tori will not be adopted to anyone in an apartment. She has not met a stranger and loves everyone from adults to young children. That tail never stops wagging. Due to her energy level, she could easily knock over a toddler and does tend to scare some of them with her exuberance. She enjoys car rides and walks, though does need some leash training.

Tori gets along with all of the dogs in her foster home and tries to instigate play, rough though it may be. Sometimes she'll chase one, but that doesn't last long. She doesn't seem to know what toys are even with watching the others play. She is much more interested in the companionship of people and food! Food is a favorite of hers, and she is not at all picky. Sadly, kitties are a no. she wants to chase them.
