Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We started fostering Sammie (aka: kitten, chicken, scrimshaw, & scrimscram) as a kitten at the beginning of 2019. She is now 3 years old - as of August 2021. She went from being around 3lbs to now being a healthy weight at 9lbs. She has some mobility issues due to malnutrition, but she doesn’t care as long as she has steps to get to the bed :-) She loves to play and cuddle. She is pretty territorial so would be a great only cat - or will need a cat friend who would give her space. We prefer her to go home with someone who is more cat savvy - or willing to learn. Sammie is honestly perfect and deserves someone willing to accommodate her as she is!
If interested in adopting, please visit www.masrescue.org and click on "Adopt Here". Adoption fees: Cats 1 yr and over - $100. Cats over 10 yrs. - $75 and Kittens (8wks to 1 yr) - $135. Please note: 100% of all the adoption fees collected are used to care for the animals, and pay our ever increasing vet bill. We appreciate your interest in adopting from a rescue organization. cWe understand the desire to meet our "cuties" as soon as possible, but because we operate entirely out of foster homes, we need to limit visitation to approved applicants only. Breed Selection is 'Best Efforts' by shelter staff, veterinarians and rescue volunteers. No guarantees are implied.
Cats are NOT to be de-clawed, and must remain indoor pets only.
Remember adoption is a commitment for the lifetime of your companion; cats could live 20 years or more!!
