My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hazel was rescued from a kill shelter in South Korea. No one knows how she lived before being taken into that shelter. But a kill shelter is not a safe place. No one came to claim her as their own pet. It is hard to imagine, but no one wanted to adopt her. Soon after being taken into the kill shelter, she was slated for euthanasia and we saved her.

Hazel has a bright personality. She is not afraid of people. She seeks for attention. When she meets a stranger, she would be a little bit shy, but calmly sit in front of a stranger to receive treats and pets. Shortly after a person starts petting, she will enjoy pettings with light waggings and wait until the petting ends. With other dogs, she tends to seek peace. She is a bit tensed when she meets a new dog. She will play well with acquainted dogs - sometimes she plays rough with them. When a cranky dog growled at her, she tried to avoid. She has high interests in cats. It might take a while for her to interact with cats gently or it will not happen. She has a bit higher energy level. She has no resource guarding behavior. She is quite a good leash walker. She has high appetite.

**Hazel is spayed. All vaccinations are updated. She has no health conditions. She weighs 14kg/31lbs.

**Hazel is scheduled to fly to Vancouver on Sep 26th and will stay in a foster home. The adoption fee for Hazel is $750 CAD including the airfare to Vancouver from Korea.
