Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Charlie, a handsome and loveable boy!
My foster parents say that I am such a gentleman because my fur looks like a little tuxedo. My big bat ears let me hear even the tiniest of sounds, which is probably why I am so curious and explorative!
I love to learn new tricks and show off the ones I already know. I can shake, play dead, high five, dance, crawl and sit in between your legs if you yell tunnel! I’ll play dead if you say “Bang Bang” and have fantastic recall. I’m a smart, highly food-motivated dog that is eager to please.
I have quick bursts of energy and love to let my zoomies out in the backyard. However, I am also big snuggler and am eager to cuddle up next to you on the couch, but only if you invite me up. I am a courteous house guest and have never chewed anything that isn’t mine or had an accident in the house. I am well trained and know not to beg for human food. I hardly shed and have a short and sleek coat that turns a beautiful shade of brown in the sunlight.
I am capable of making friends in a calm environment, especially with dogs that will match my level of play! However, my foster parents say that I won’t make a good city dog. We’re working on my leash reactivity and my first impressions. New and busy environments can overwhelm me.
The ideal home for me is one with a more suburban/rural area where I can run and have another dog (or dogs) to join my pack. I prefer to get my exercise out in a backyard as opposed to neighborhood walks, although I am well trained in “heel”. I would love an owner who is excited to teach me new tricks. I love to learn!
I am a 2-year-old Staffordshire terrier mix in great health. I am micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines. Weighing in at only 44 pounds, I will make a great addition to your loving home.
