My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Rose and I’m a little bunny with big ideas! I am very curious and love to explore. I also love to run around, jump, and climb on things - including people. If you are doing something (like cleaning my litter box) I will want to be right there in the middle of the action.

After I am done running around, I enjoy being petted, and tolerate being held. If you insist on petting me while I am busy, I might make a rude raspberry noise to let you know I am annoyed. But if you just lie down calmly with me during my busy times, I will entertain myself by hopping on you and sniffing you inquisitively.

My litter box habits are really good. I always pee in my litter box, and only occasionally poop outside of it. I do prefer a covered litter box, since that gives me privacy, and also gives me something else to jump up on!

As a young bunny, I’ve enjoyed unlimited pellets and hay (timothy hay and orchard grass mostly). I love the fresh greens (romaine, spring mix, etc) that I get in the morning and evening. Cilantro is especially delicious and I will happily hop into your lap to get some! After I was spayed recently I got to try carrots, which are my new fave.

I like to have a bunny-proofed area with toys, boxes, and things to climb during my busy times in the morning, evening, and sometimes late at night. I am accustomed to free-roaming an approximately 8 by 6 foot area all the time, and enjoy the chance to go on supervised field trips to other parts of the house occasionally.
