IDGSR WELCOMES MADISON INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Madison is a 2 to 3 year old Female Black and Tan German Shepherd. She is stunningly beautiful and loving.
Madison is a very sweet and loyal dog, but has had a difficult few years. She was separated from families she had formed strong bonds with twice and, as a result, has become somewhat anxious around new people. She is working with a professional trainer now to reestablish her confidence.
Madison is looking for her new family where she can reestablish that strong, loving bond. She needs parents that have experience with and understand of the German Shepard temperament, and will provide the training and strong direction she needs to ensure her intense loving and loyal personality is directed in positive ways.
Madison is crate and house trained, and knows basic obedience commands. She does well with other dogs, but, with her new anxieties, would not do well in a family with young children.
As with all German Shepard Dogs, basic training is required to ensure their intelligence and loyalty is directed positively. This is especially important for Madison so the progress she's made with her professional trainer in rebuilding her confidence continues. And training is a great way for the new parents to establish that wonderful bond, trust and respect with your new German Shepard.
