My story

Hello UYR friends and family! We would like to introduce you to one of our newest foster pups, Lily.

Lily is a beautiful 11 month old, 5.8 lbs baby girl that is full of energy and love. Our vet thinks that Lily may be a Yorkie / Scottie mix aka a Scorkie, we are not sure, however we are sure that she is 100% adorable.

Lily was re-homed after her owners decided they did not have enough time for her. The nice lady that took her in, surrendered her to UYR within a few days after realizing that a puppy was not the right fit for her and her elderly dog. Lily gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home, but most are seniors that don't want to play.She is high energy and needs to burn that off with lots of play and walks.

Lily is not currently potty trained but her foster family is working on that. Due to Lily’s small size, she will do best in a home without children under the age of 12.

Lily had a vet visit last week, and will be scheduled for her spay surgery after we receive the blood work results. She also has a few baby teeth that need to be removed. Other than that, she is healthy and should be available for adoption after she heals from her surgery in a couple weeks.
