Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Welcome Banjo to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 5.5-year-old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd. This boy has natural herding skills. He herds the deer in his Texas home. He is no slouch dog and he loves to run and bank off a fence when running. He can jump over a 4-foot fence but he doesn’t run off. He would be best in a privacy fence that is 6 ft or on a farm where he can work with the family and help on the farm. He will be best with a job and he is great with all people. We would love someone who has owned a herding breed before as they will know what they will need to be great dogs. He loves everyone and would also be fine with kids and we always like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get Banjo to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180. He is healthy, hw negative, vaccinated, neutered and ready for his forever home. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states
