My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Duane 💙
What can we say about Duane besides that he's one great, well behaved boy?
Duane loves every person he meets and gets along great with dogs. He is fantastic with kids as well.
He loves to be with his humans and will follow you through the house and lay at your feet when you're watching TV.
And he is house and kennel trained.
Duane can absolutely not be around cats and livestock.

If you think that Duane is the guy for you and you would like to make him a forever member of your family, please fill out our adoption application at adoption.poundpupandfriends.org

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer, non-profit rescue group trying to save as many dog lives as possible in the Killeen area. Our focus is the Killeen animal shelter, which stays at a high occupancy rate and is trying to become no-kill.
We also provide medical treatment for dogs that would otherwise not be adoptable. Most of our expenses are for treatments to enable these dogs to have a better and healthier life.
