My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy has been an excellent pet and companion for my wife. She's playful and doesn't act her age at all. Lucy is independent and decides when she's ready to be petted. She is completely kennel and house trained.
Lucy generally likes women better than men. Having said that I've never seen her be aggressive toward anyone. Lucy does like to go for walks, but she hates to ride in vehicles. Lucy's two dog kennels (large and small) and 4 beds come with her.
The reason we're parting with Lucy is because my wife has a degenerative condition and she is now unfortunately had to enter a long term care facility. Little Lucy and I miss her terribly. Lucy really needs a family that can give her the love and attention she needs.
