Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Benito-- neutered male Yorkie mix, approx. 1 to 2 years old. Benito weighs 11 lbs.
Benito loves to roughhouse with other dogs and with people. He has a strong personality and does not tolerate strangers or threatening behavior (such as raising hand or standing over him as if to hurt him). He is NOT a dog for children of any age. He needs a dog savvy owner who will commit to positive rewards based training. no first-time dog owners. CDHA defines dog experienced as having owned a dog of their own and with a proven history of care/training.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of Albany, NY.
The adoption application can be found at: https://cdha.net/pets-for-adoption/adoption-application/.
Submitting an application does not commit you to adopt a dog nor does it guarantee you will be approved to adopt.
CDHA does not adopt to families with children under 5 years of age, people under the age of 21 nor people in transition, e.g., college students.
