Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Onyx has had some sort of trauma in her past that makes her reactive to anything or anyone she feels is scary. With patience she has learned to trust volunteers and a couple of our other cats. She can be friendly and playful once she has settled in to her environment. She may never be a 'cuddly' cat but she can be petted and picked up briefly. She loves treats and will come when the treat jar is rattled. We think part of her trauma had to do with a dog attack as she is very fearful and does not tolerate dogs at all. With cats, Onyx chooses not to interact and will hide from active cats that don't respect her space. She might do well in a home with one other cat but not multiple cats. We also feel that her ideal home would not have young children. She can be unpredictable when scared and children don't understand cues a cat gives when it wants to be left alone. She is front declawed and uses the litter box always. If you like calm cats and can give her a home where she can adjust at her own pace, come meet Onyx.
