My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Guinevere and her sister come from the Mt. Angel colony. They were very hissy and spitty and had no trust of people or dogs. With help from the resident "Grandpa" cat they have learned how to beg for snacks, which dogs make comfy beds, and that scratches are good and purring is fun. They still have some reservations about loud noises and strangers. Would do best in a quite adult home.

These spicy sisters have come a long way gaining trust for us humans and dogs. As far as they were concerned people and dogs were on a do not trust list. They were on the mean streets of Mt. Angel in a feral colony with only bad experiences with humans and dogs. After meeting Grandpa cat Shitten they have been learning how to get pets, snacks, toys and that people give good scratches behind ears and it feels good. Their first reaction is no longer to hiss, spit, and run. They now watch, wait for food, purr, sometimes run and hide. They love to play together, zoom around the house, and make box forts. Both are experts at using the litterbox. They are very shy towards strangers but when you win their favor it's an even bigger reward.

They may never be super cuddly but they are great company, and very entertaining to watch play. They have been caught cuddling with a fluffy older Golden Retriever and have now lowered dogs to “suspicious" from do-not-trust level. They have been living with 3 adult cats, 1 senior cat, 1 adult dog, and 2 senior dogs. A quieter adult home with a solid routine would benefit their progress into civilized living.

Both sisters are polydactal.

$150 for the bonded sister pair.
