My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy, folks! The name's Bug, and I'm a surprise package of purrs discovered right in the heart of a local dentist's office during CAT's TNR mission. Life on the inside was a bit of a mystery to me at first, but each day I'm learning to embrace the wonders it holds. Indoors, you've got food aplenty, pals to frolic with, and, best of all, my sister Ant by my side—she's my partner in crime and my ultimate confidante! While I'm still not sold on the whole 'being held' thing, I'm slowly but surely warming up to the idea of pets. Adjusting to my new digs might take a tad bit of time, but trust me, once I'm settled, the fun times will roll! And speaking of fun, wouldn't it be just the bee's knees to bring my sister Ant along for the ride? She's a hoot—be sure to give her a peek! So, if you're on the lookout for a dynamic duo bursting with charm and endless entertainment, look no further! Bug and Ant are here to bring double the love and laughter into your home sweet home. Let's make some memories together, shall we?

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
