My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poppy is a young female terrier mix with a vet's estimated date of birth as 12/17/2019.  This girl is housetrained, crate trained, up to date on shots/vaccines.  She is loving and playful but is usually calm.  She is not a barker unless someone comes to the door or hears people outside the fence.  She is not a lap dog. She is crate trained.  She has only had limited experience with other dogs at the foster's house. The neighbor has a 5-pound dog that she was very fearful of; however, she stayed with another foster for a period while the foster was on vacation, and Poppy did well with her calm lab. She is good with cats and currently living with 4 of them!  She is very fearful of men.  Will bark and tries to get as far away from them as possible.  She usually ends up going into her crate, which is her safe spot.  She is not aggressive at all, just scared.  It takes her a few minutes to warm up to new women, but she trusts them over men. Poppy has received Heartworm treatman and is now negative! If interested in Poppy please flll out the adopition appliacton on our website https://www.pawsitiveimpactncdogrescue.org/adopt

More about this rescue

PINC's Mission: Pawsitive Impact NC Dog Rescue exists to provide a better life for dogs without homes and to assist in the effort to limit the overpopulation.

Vision: Pawsitive Impact NC Dog Rescue is a local 501c3 All Breed Foster Based Rescue which envisions the day where every adoptable dog has a safe, loving, and responsible home.  We look forward to a society that  values and respects animals, one where people spay and neuter their pets to prevent overpopulation.
