My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zoo A228972

Zoo is a 1 year old male who came into the shelter on June 21 as a stray.

Zoo is one extra large puppy. He comes out of his kennel all paws and can be like Bambi on ice down the hallway. It looks worse than it is though. Zoo is a happy dog and just wants all the attention he can get. He can be quite jumpy when he’s really excited and hasn’t mastered his off button yet but he tries. Zoo was in awe of his new surroundings outside. He couldn’t decide if he wanted to play with the big toy selection or try to see every dog that was in the yard. He does know the sit command but it can take a few times before he listens. There were just too many distractions to keep him focused and treats weren’t a huge motivator for him on his first day. We will keep working on his manners and hopefully Zoo doesn’t have to stay long at the shelter.
