Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UNFORTUNATELY, WE CANNOT REPLY TO INQUIRIES SENT DIRECTLY THROUGH ADOPT-A-PET. PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW TO APPLY.
North New Jersey
Maggie is an 7-8 yo. 7 lb. female apricot Pom-Chi that is a SUPER sweet little girl that LOVES being attached at the hip with her human. She is the perfect couch potato for someone that needs a snuggle buddy. She also LOVES playing with squeaky toys and will chase them when thrown. For a Pom-ette she is remarkably NOT yappy. She will yap a little when you leave the house and when you come home. But she understands “quiet” and “no.”
Her bloodwork is normal, she had a dental with zero extractions and she was spayed. During her spay we found a mammary tumor which was sent out to the lab and came back benign. We did an xray to confirm there were no other tumors. The xray did reveal a back right leg deformity. But after consulting with a surgeon, it appears it may be genetic as she does not have much of a socket. Thus, surgery was not recommended as it would impair her. She runs around on it like nothing is wrong. Occasionally she will favor it and walk on three legs but she doesn’t seem to have any pain from it. She is UTD on her shots and HW negative.
Maggie is a tiny little thing that needs careful handling and owners that are mindful of how fragile she is when under foot. She loves having a fenced in yard to roam around and sniff. She is not a walking dog especially given her leg. She would love to be carried around and just hang out with her human.
NO small children visiting or living in the home. She is great with other SMALL and CALM pups but would love to be your one and only. She is too fragile to live with large and/or hyper dogs.
