Chief is a 5-year-old blue merle Great Dane.

This is what his owner wrote us: "We unfortunately need to rehome our dog. He requires more attention than we can give him. We all have jobs with long distance driving that requires us to be away longer. And my son would helped us a lot just graduated and started his first job and is starting school next month out of town. He would do better as an only dog. He gets along well with others but if he feels threatened by other dogs he will get protective.

He is fully house trained and knows most commands. He loves people and thinks he is the size of a chihuahua. We love him so much and this is breaking my heart but I know he will do better with someone who can give him more attention. "
