father has a farm in SW Ranches. Slowly but surely a cat would turn up at our barn and we’d start feeding it. Next thing you knew…there was about 5-7. One of my favorites turned up pregnant and had her babies in a garbage can. I rescued all 3 of them from the can and brought them into my home so they could ween and be neutered and spayed. Even dedicating one of my upstairs bedrooms. However, I am not able to keep them for many reasons. The most pressing of reasons is, they are getting older and me and my family are allergic to their dander. One of the other reasons is I’ve got two rescue dogs that are very territorial and are having health issues as well. Seeing as how these kitties have been raised as indoor kittens their whole lives, I can’t bring myself to release them out at my father’s property. There are huge racoons that often invade the barn cat’s territory and I just have a bad feeling about it.
Currently they are 5 months old, neutered and vaccinated.
