My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jade is a one year old Black Labrador mix girl looking for a home. She is 3-legged!
When we found Jade she had an old injury on her hind leg that seemed healed already, unfortunately after doing x-rays our vets saw that the bone wasn´t healed well at all and affected hurt the joint and since it all fused together crooked and the bone was too weak, we had to amputate her leg.
But already a week after the surgery, Jade was running around as if nothing had happened.
She is such a happy pup and just wants to be loved and get belly rubs and play.
Jade is good with other dogs, male and female. She hasn´t lived with cats before, so she was a bit afraid of them when we tested her, but she wasn´t chasing, so we think she could become friends with a cat.
Jade is a medium to higher energy pup, who despite of her handicap loves to run around and play.
So she does need a good amount of excercise, nonetheless one shouldn´t overdo it, since it does put a bit of a strain on her remaining legs.
Jade is very affectionate with humans and loves cuddles.
She is fully vaccinated and spayed and ready for a home! She can fly to Vancouver on October 2nd and will need pick up at YVR if your application gets approved.
