Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! My name is Iris and I am about 10 years old. I first was adopted by my human mom when I was one year old when she was in college. I am very sweet and compassionate and my human mom loves me very much and feels terrible for letting me go and wants the best for me. I am congenitally deaf, but otherwise healthy and do not let my disability define me! But I do have some behavioral problems that I want to address. Unfortunately, I pee sometimes outside of my litter box. This may be triggered by anxiety, stress, or any changes to my environment. My human mom tried working with me on it for years, taking me to the vet, buying me special litters to attract me to the litter box, stimulating my interest with toys, and even getting me an elevated cage and cat tower for me to feel safe in at night. But I still pee and have ruined a few places in my time, which I feel really bad about! Other animals cause me stress, so I prefer to be in a patient home where all the attention falls onto me!
