Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Winston and I’m a very sweet Lop/Lionhead mix who weighs around 5 lbs. I was surrendered to a shelter and transferred to MCRS. Not much is known about my past life but I can tell you what I’m like now. I’m estimated to be an older bun, at least 5 years old and I’m social and friendly.
When I first came into MCRS my mane hair was in my eyes so I got a haircut. It’s important to keep my mane trimmed so I can see well since I cannot hear. This is common in lop breeds and you wouldn’t know it by watching me. I also have a fluffy butt so you’ll need to keep an eye on it and brush/trim it when needed. My ears were filled with a lot of wax so my foster mom cleaned them out and continues to do so once a week. Foster mom would be happy to show you how to do all of this. Because of this, it’s probably best I go to a home with some experience. I do behave very well for these things.
Other than that, I’m a happy, calm guy who loves to be pet and will sit in your lap nicely. When I get run time out of my pen, if you lay on the floor with me, I love to run over and sniff every inch of you and beg for pets. I’m not the most active bun, I just prefer to lounge around. I’m great with my litterbox habits and I love food! Hay, greens, pellets treats, they’re all good to me! I think I would do well with other pets, especially since I can’t hear and a bonus is, I won’t get upset with a vacuum cleaner. You will need to use one often, as I get hay stuck in my fluff and it gets carried everywhere I go. I drink lots of water so a large water bowl is a must.
I hope we can meet soon and maybe you will fall in love with me!
