My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amber and Abby MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions.

Are you the one(s) to open your arms to these two precious ginger girls? Whether you refer to them as orange, red, or ginger in color, these beautiful girls are sure to steal your heart. There's a 75% chance that an orange tabby cat will be male, due to the fact that they only need to inherit one copy of the gene for this coat color. So, what a surprise to get two ginger twins that were girls!

These two did not start off on the best paw. There were ten kittens dropped off in a box in front of a vet clinic when they were closed for business. They reached out to us and we took in all ten. Happy to give them a better start in life. You will not find two more precious girls. I think they know how much their humans helped them to get to where they are today.

Amber and her sister Abby are an enduring pair of pure purr joy. They love you from the bottom of their hearts and show their affections through hugs, kisses on your face and wrapping their purring little ginger bodies around your chest and neck. They are just handfuls of love.

These two girls must be adopted together. They are very bonded and wrestle, run and play together.
Amber is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

She currently lives with her foster family in Davis.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Amber (and Abby) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Laurel Fagan at laurel@faganhome.com or 5303042836. If you are unable to reach Laurel Fagan please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
