My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Krissy Peanut! Krissy is a rescue from Turkey who made the long journey here to the US to find her perfect furever family. Krissy is an approximately 1 year old Terrier mix… maybe part Jack russell. Whatever she is, it is certain that she is adorable, and the sweetest little girl! Krissy has been settling in with her foster family over the past few weeks and is now ready to find her furever family.

Krissy is a people dog who loves to cuddle, and be around her people all the time. Krissy makes friends with everyone she meets, and does very well in social settings. Krissy has adapted well to house life since arriving from Turkey. She has done well with potty training, but will of course need some time and direction when moving to her furever home until she learns where she is supposed to go potty, and gets on a schedule. Krissy is a very smart, food motivated little girl, so training and teaching her new things will be easy. Krissy does tend to bark for attention, and at passersby. She will need some work, here, but with consistency she’s already getting better!

Krissy loves her walks and sunbathing in the yard. She is a medium energy girl. She loves her walks, and is always up for an adventure! Once she gets some exercise she will hang out around the house, or cuddle with her foster mom. She is currently being fostered with 2 other small dogs and has done well. She doesn’t really play with other dogs, but coexists well and enjoys the company. Krissy would do well in a home with another dog, or as an only dog to get all the attention!

PLEASE NOTE: Krissy’s adoption fee is $500, and she is being fostered in Torrance
