Lovely Leah is looking for her forever family, and she wants her new people to know these 10 things about her:

1. I am about 3 years old. My breed is a bit of a mystery, but I am on the petite side (by Bullpen standards) and probably won’t ever weigh more than 80lbs.

2. I had a pretty terrible life before I came to rescue. My previous owners used me for breeding purposes and they didn’t take care of me or even feed me regularly. It’s taken me a little time to get back to good health, but now I’m ready to start my second chapter.

3. I can be shy at first, but once I get a chance to warm up, I adore everyone I meet. I would love to live in a home with kids, even if they were younger than 5.

4. I like all dogs, no matter what sex, size, or age.

5. I’m also a fan of felines, so I could definitely live in a home that has cats!

6. The words that best describe me are friendly, affectionate, and easy-going.

7. My favorite things to do are hanging with people, napping, and sunbathing.

8. I am housebroken and crate-trained, and I am great on a leash. I’m also learning basic obedience!

9. I am fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped.

10. I am heartworm positive, but I’ve already started treatment, and will come with all the medicine needed to complete it at my new home.
