Beautiful Blondie is looking for her forever family, and she wants her new people to know these 10 things about her:
1. I am a Cane Corso, and I am about 2 years old. I am on the petite side (by Bullpen standards) and probably won’t ever weigh more than 100 lbs.
2. My life before rescue was the pits: My sister, Cookie, and I were chained to a tree and our only shelter was two old metal burn barrels. My previous owner was planning to sell us to a backyard breeder down the road, but luckily a Good Samaritan intervened and got us into rescue with the Bullpen!
3. I am pretty social for a Corso, and I like most people once I get a chance to warm up. I have lots of energy so I would probably do best in a home with children over 10, as long as they had some previous experience/training with big dogs.
4. I really love my sister but I don’t seem to care for most other dogs. It would be great if we could get adopted together, but I also wouldn’t mind being the center of attention (the only pet) at my new home.
5. I haven’t spent much time in the company of cats since coming to the Bullpen, so I don’t know if a home with felines is a good fit for me.
6. The words that best describe me are sweet, energetic, and curious.
7. My favorite things to do are hanging with people, playing with my sister, and eating.
8. I am housebroken and crate-trained, and I am working on leash manners and basic obedience!
9. I am fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped.
10. I am heartworm positive, but I’ve already started treatment, and will come with all the medicine needed to complete it at my new home.

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
