Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We took this sweet cutie pie in as a stray intake, she was running all alone in the streets in Maili! She is ready to go to her new forever home since she has completed her spay surgery and recovery. Chiquita craves pets and attention and play time! Some of her favorite things in the world is food and cuddles! She is a runaway pup though! She just LOVES to go go go! New owners will need to keep a close eye on her as she just loves to get going!
Put in your application for Chiquita today!
The Chihuahua is a tiny but confident dog that loves to give and receive attention. Despite its petite and fragile appearance, the breed is quite bold, even brazen. Its wide eyes and big ears are its other distinctive features. The ears are usually erect and very large in relation to its small head and body. The Chihuahua has a unique personality and can be a quite affectionate, loyal companion dog. Not all Chihuahuas will automatically get along with children, but they can sometimes be trained and socialized to get along with kids. It is often recommended that Chihuahuas not be adopted into a family with young children, as they may not handle a small dog as gently as is needed to prevent injury.

Please use this link to request an ADOPTION application:https://HSPCA.17hats.com/p#/lcf/hfhxtvdzfwsxdpfdhkwsrphfspzhptpr
Please request an application and submit it, once approved you will be invited to make an appointment for a meet & greet with the animal of your choosing. you may also put in a general dog or cat application to meet multiple of each pet. If sparks fly and a great match happens at your meet & greet we will then schedule a home visit to come see you. You will be asked to sign a contract before the start of your trial. At this visit we will want to see your home to ensure our fur kid is going to be taken well care of. We will bring your new pet too so If the visit goes well we will begin the 1 week trial immediately..
During the trial we ask you stay in close contact and send photos and videos daily to keep us up to date. At the end of the trial if everyone is happy, including your new pet we will sign off on the contract and make the adoption official
