Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rook may look like a senior, but is still a young dog at heart. He has been at the shelter since 3/12/09.He spent a couple weeks at my house while the floors at the shelter were being redone and I really got to know him. He enjoyed being able to run around our fenced yard off-leash. One night while my husband was getting the boat ready to going hunting in the morning Rook even jumped in the boat and sat on the seat waiting to go! He also loved the car ride to my house. He prefers the front seat, but once he is there he will sit nicely and wait to be at his destination. He also played nicely with my 4 year old daughter. Rook still needs some work on walking nicely on leash and housebreaking, but would make someone a great dog! He is neutered and up-to-date on shots including Rabies. Stop by the shelter and meet him today! If you have any questions you can call us at 563-886-2361 or email us at friendsoa@yahoo.com. Adoption fee: $50 Thanks!!! :-) UPDATE: Rook was adopted out the first part of April but didn't get along with the other owners dog so we are listing him as an only dog.
