Hi, my name is Owen. I'm a wonderful and handsome 2 year-old Shepherd mix. I was turned into the shelter when my guardian moved away. That was months ago and here I am still lingering in this cage. I was so frightened when I first arrived but I have slowly come out of my shell. My volunteer friends believe I was a backyard dog, as I was not too familiar with being touched or loved. I can be very aloof at times, however I do enjoy giving you soft kisses from time to time. I love taking walkies and I must admit that I'm a complete gentleman on lead. I would like a family who will have the time to interact with me and socialize me with the outside world. I'd do well in a home with children 10 years-old and up. I really love playing with other doggies and even get along with cats so if you have them I'd sure love to meet them! Won't you please give me the life I so badly deserve? Show me what it's like to be loved.
