Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet Billy was found abandoned and dumped. He had been failed by humans so badly that he was absolutely terrified of people. While his journey to trust has been long, he has finally learned that not all people mean harm. He is finally able to play in the yard, have doggie friends, and he is learning to walk on a leash. He is such a sweet soul and he deserves to know nothing but love for the rest of his life. He will need a quiet, patient home to complete his transformation.

If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with many of our adoptable dogs there.
Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day!
*Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.*
**All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.
